Screen Defense The Collegiate Screen Saver

Here it is, College fans and Alumni. Show off your school spirit and team 
support on your computer screen!  Screen Defense© is uniquely designed to 
run from the Windows built-in screen saver system or Berkeley's After Dark®.  
Outstanding graphics of the officially licensed school logos along with 
superbly drawn and ray traced images are combined to provide an outstanding 
screen saver collection for the college booster or enthusiast. Choose your
favorite schools or take them all it doesn't matter.  Purchase the base 
system and add schools as you like.  Additional schools can be purchased 
from your retailer or see the end of this announcement for additional 
ordering information.

To install the Screen Defense© demonstration disk:
	
	1) Unzip with PKunzip all the files contained 
	   in the SD.ZIP file to a floppy disk.
	2) From program manager choose, file, run, then type
	   a:\install, then hit your enter key. (Please substitute
	   the letter "a" with the appropriate drive.)
	3) If you choose to install the program for After Dark®
           the install will automatically install the files in 
           a directory called \afterdrk. If you have After Dark®
           installed into a different directory, copy the files 
           from the \afterdrk directory into the appropriate 
           directory. The file sdlib.dll must be in the main
           directory of After Dark.


Some of the many features of Screen Defense© are:

Football Module:
Displays the school's helmet with sound and animation. Have your favorite 
football teams logos flying around your screen.  Set the attitude toward 
the teams to add sound effects.

Basketball Module:
This feature shows the school's mascot or logo on a ray-traced basketball.  
The ball bounces around your screen constantly, to show your support of 
your team.

Baseball Module:
No strike here!  See your favorite team's logo emblazoned across a baseball 
and coming at you in a 3-dimensional effect!

Satellite Module:
Want to support all your favorite sports?  This module shows the school 
mascots revolving around your choice of a basketball, football helmet, 
or baseball. 

Slide Show Module:
Enjoy a slide presentation of your teams with this module.  This module 
shows the team logos fading in and out in a slide show manner, changing 
to a different school between fades.

Randomizer:
Really mix them up with this one.  Randomize all of the Screen Defense 
modules.  Select this to have the modules shuffled and appear at random.  
Each module will appear with its own preset options.

Password Protection:
Like any good coach would, protect your system from prying eyes with a 
password.  Keep those play stealers out of your system by assigning a 
unique password to your system.

Electronic Online Help:
Help is just a mouse click away. In addition to a comprehensive on-line 
help file,each module has its own help.  The help file explains how each 
of the features work along with team information and how to get more team 
logos.

Team Attitude Selectability:
This feature allows you to choose which schools are to appear.  It also 
allows the you to choose which teams are heralded or heckled.  Built-in 
sound effects are used to express your delight (Cheer) or disgust (Boo)
with a team.

Upgrades:
Easily upgrade Screen Defense to include your "next" favorite team.  
Updated or additional teams are available where you purchased your 
original program or refer to the information at the end of this 
announcement for other ordering options.

After Dark® 2.0 & 3.0  Compatible:
Screen Defense is compatible with Berkeley's After Dark® 2.0 and 3.0.  
You can control the program with the Screen Defense control center or 
install it into After Dark and control it just like you would any other 
After Dark module.

Requirements:
Microsoft Windows® 3.1 or newer. 
Windows® running in 256 color mode.
A sound card is recommended, but not necessary.
